Case Studies

ESS has worked with a number of voluntary organisation and funders. Below are some examples of the work we have done. Each case study is a 1 page report summarising some of the work we have done with organisations. If you would like more information on the ways we could support your organisation please contact us.

Granton Youth Centre

The Peer leader project at Granton Youth Centre was looking for more exciting ways to collect information on its outcomes. The young people involved in the project liked the visual methods learnt by the project staff on our workshop so much that they used them in an inspirational mural.

Tullochan Trust

The Tullochan Trust runs activities and developmental projects for young people aged 8-18. ESS worked with The Tullochan Trust through 1:1 support sessions over the course of a year to help them review their evaluation practice and better demonstrate what difference they are making.

Funders Forum - Evaluation Declaration

The Scottish Funders Forum is a group of statutory and independent voluntary sector funders. This group produced with the support of ESS an "Evaluation Declaration".

Huntly Highlanders Junior Cricket Club

This volunteer led youth group used a 1:1 session with ESS to tighten up their outcomes and to review how they collected the information they need for their funders. This session helped the club to make evaluation and their outcome's shape the work they do.
