How Change Happens: Using logic models in evaluation

Purpose
Logic models can help voluntary organisations to consider why and how they make a difference. They can help you to plan, evidence and explain the difference you make.

This participative workshop will also introduce ways to measure the contribution of complex arrays of activities to wider outcomes and to higher-level outcomes.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
1. Build a basic logic model (or ‘results chain’)
2. Check the logic and underlying assumptions in your ‘project theory’
3. Feel more confident in measuring contribution to ‘higher level’ outcomes
4. Identify some basic ways that you might use logic modelling in your work
