Evaluation Support Scotland, YouthLink Scotland and Youth Scotland invite you to come along, hear from others and share ideas about how you can start your journey of involving young people in evaluation.

While encouraging young people to take the evaluation reins might sound like a daunting prospect it could be a fantastic opportunity to get your project outcomes right or perhaps improve your tools for gathering evidence, while building young people’s skills at the same time.

There is no set way of supporting young people to lead on evaluation, it may depend on the type of activities you deliver or what stage you feel you are at with evaluation.  In 2018, to mark the Year of Young People, ESS supported several organisations funded by The National Lottery Community Fund to go ‘beyond gathering feedback’.  We have learnt that it works well when young people have an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.

This event aims to provide you with an opportunity to share your knowledge, experience and concerns with others and come away with some practical tips about how (and why!) you might go ‘beyond gathering feedback’.

There will be refreshments on arrival and lunch will be provided.
